Embedded Software Engineer (UAV Genesys Platform)

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to specialize in the development and optimization of embedded systems for our UAV Genesys Platform. You will be responsible for creating robust, efficient, and reliable embedded software critical to UAV control, navigation, and system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. (Experience is more desirable than a degree)
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably within UAV, aerospace, or robotics industries.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages including C and C++.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), hardware drivers, and embedded firmware development.
- Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures, embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART), and sensor integration.
- Familiarity with UAV-specific software and communication frameworks (e.g., MAVLink, PX4, ROS).
- Proven experience developing secure, efficient, and reliable embedded software.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and teamwork capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for the UAV Genesys Platform.
- Develop and maintain real-time embedded systems software for flight controllers and sensor integration.
- Perform integration and debugging of embedded software with UAV hardware components.
- Collaborate closely with electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of embedded systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Document embedded software designs, testing procedures, and operational guidelines thoroughly.
- Provide technical support and resolve embedded system issues during system deployment and field operations.
