Power Engineer (UAV Platform Development - Battery & Power Management)

We are seeking an experienced Power Engineer specializing in UAV battery systems, power management, and energy efficiency optimization. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and managing sophisticated power systems crucial for UAV operations, flight endurance, and overall system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in power systems design, preferably within UAV, aerospace, or electric vehicle industries.
• Proficiency in battery technologies, battery management systems (BMS), and power electronics.
• Experience with power simulation tools and techniques for thermal management and reliability assessment.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with embedded system integration and real-time monitoring of power systems.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop battery systems and power management solutions for UAV platforms.
• Conduct battery characterization, testing, and validation to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Implement power management and energy efficiency strategies to extend UAV operational endurance.
• Collaborate closely with electronics engineers, embedded software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers for comprehensive system integration.
• Perform simulation and analysis of power systems to predict performance under various operating conditions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, test procedures, and system specifications.
• Provide technical support during system integration, troubleshooting, and field operations.
